I'm grateful for the first annual Silly Supper we attended on Sunday. Gerald and Jana Rogers invited us to this VERY special and unique occasion to say thanks for watching their cuties the weekend before. The Silly Supper was just as the name suggests, a chance to eat and dine and be as silly as possible, complete with costumes and all. It was awesome. We are SUPER lucky to have SILLY friends like that who let us just be ourselves.
I'm grateful for the Rogers kids. Our friends Gerald and Jana attended an awesome marriage seminar with Dino and Shannon Watt while we watched their 4 beautiful, smart, sweet, and VERY fun children for a few days. I loved every minute of it...mostly because they kept telling me how cool I was, and who doesn't have a self-esteem boost like that? Gerald and Jana, you can send your kids our way ANY time! We adore them. :)
What are YOU grateful for?
I'm grateful to finally be able to hear my daughter sing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth..." Yes, I realize it's only October, but we sing Christmas songs around here all year round. ;) She looks (and sounds) pretty stinkin' cute!

What are YOU grateful for?
I'm grateful for our new digital piano. It's a Yamaha 2011, and it has such a beautiful sound, feel, and look, very similar to an acoustic piano. My favorite part is that I can hook up my headphones and pratice playing during naptime without anyone in the house hearing me play. I also like that as a voice teacher, it's always perfectly in pitch for my students, without me having to spend $90 year to tune it. We bought it at Piano Gallery over the weekend, and they were fantastic to work with, even letting us price match with what we found online, so it cost only $1050 instead of $1150. We've really enjoyed our simple keyboard, but I'm excited to have more motivation to practice playing the piano on this little beauty.
I'm grateful for the Dollar Theater. Monday nights, tickets are only 75 cents instead of the already great deal of $1.50 so after gymnastics class, we enjoyed some popcorn, water, and kung fu at it's best watching Kung Fu Panda 2. Thank you Jack Black for the laughs. Funny stuff. :)
I'm grateful for General Conference. It always motivates me to be more kind, more loving, more patient, more forgiving, more faithful, more prayerful, and more excited to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's sweet to watch my children try to watch and listen along with mommy and daddy (notice I said, "try"). Lots and lots of coloring pages and activities usually help. ;) My favorite talk was about finding joy in raising children by Neil L. Andersen. Wade and I have always wanted a large family and hope to still if the Lord blesses us so. But I'm glad that Elder Anderson reminds us that it's a sacred and private choice between husband and wife how many children to have and not to judge if others have less or more than what you think is ideal. I feel that's good advice in any case. The less we judge our family and friends the better because we truly don't know every circumstance or challenge they face.
I'm grateful for our sleepover at Grandma's house this weekend. We always feel welcome around Wade's mom. While the boys were at a Father and Son Campout with Grandpa Reed, we had some fun girl time, eating Chicken Alfredo with broccoli, getting haircuts, painting our nails, watching Beauty and the Beast, enjoying Gluten Free Raspberry Tarts, talking, and of course coloring... 
This girl spends hours every day coloring! She even lost a tooth at Grandma Stoney's house so the tooth fairy brought her money the next morning. She only has to lose the other front tooth so she can sing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth..." Thanks mom for hosting such a memorable sleepover. We loved spending time with you! And tell Grandpa Stoney thanks for teasing you-know-who and making her laugh so much. :) It was a lot of fun!
