Small Towns

I'm grateful for small towns, especially on irrigation day! I grew up in a small town on a 1 acre farm, and have fond memories of running through the water whenever we'd irrigate the lawn. Last week in Idaho, my kids had the same opportunity and loved it! Thanks to cousin Nancy for sharing this joy with us. Good times!

What are YOU grateful for? And while you're thinking about that, if you know of a home for sell in a small town, give me a call. :)

I loved having you here and my kids were all very jealous that I got to spend time with you and the kids and they didn't even get to see you.
I'm grateful for this last week where I got to go to Wood Badge and rub shoulders with the elite scout leaders of America, well, maybe not America, but they are special people and it was good to reflect on how my actions influence those around me. Also as leaders we can have a great impact on the boys or girls we are serving over. Always remember they are looking to us as an example.
