I'm grateful for our Christmas tree and how it brought a soft glow of the Christmas spirit when we would sit around the living room or kitchen table close by. And I always felt those colorful lights through the window welcomed us home happily each time we pulled into our driveway at night. This is a picture of our tree with just a few gifts as it was for most of the month before Santa came. It's not a fancy tree, but I think the homemade ornaments my children created add character, and I like it that way. :)
