Jerusalem Supper

I'm grateful for the Jerusalem Supper we have every year with friends to reflect on Christ this time of year. We set the table and eat the kinds of foods Christ may have eaten in Jerusalem. We have pita bread with fish (tuna), grapes, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, oranges, bananas, cheese, dates, pita chips, hummus, and grape juice, etc.  Our friends, David and Bonnie Campbell, who've spent time in Jerusalem, introduced this idea to us when we were first married, and we have continued the tradition since then.  After dinner, we sit around the living room and each share who we relate the most with in the nativity story (Joseph, Mary, the Innkeeper who finally found a place for Him, the shepherds, wise men, one of the animals, the star which led others to Christ, etc.) It's always a sweet and spiritual experience.
What are YOU grateful for?
