Swingsets

I'm grateful for swingsets. I remember swinging with Katie Nicholls during recess everyday in 5th grade and debating whether Catherine should be spelled with a "C" like my name or a "K" like hers. There's something about swinging with someone that connects you as friends for always. That's how I feel about Katie, a forever friend. She's pretty darn cool, if you ask me.

In this picture, my little guy is connecting with his Daddy like that, flying and laughing on the swingset. Lyndy's right...life is like a swingset. I love that song. Check it out here. And while you're at it, remember my BIG GIVEAWAY! Only 9 more days left. Wahoo!

What are YOU grateful for?

I love the song, I hadn't heard it before. "Scratching the ground and touching the sky." It reminded me of waves. I had always heard that life is like a wave with its ups and downs, but what if you turn the wave to a 45 degree angle? Then the ups and downs are like stair steps going up. Your lowest lows are better than your earlier highest highs. Life is always getting better! (if you choose that, of course)
